Services
The Village of Drummond provides the following services: planning and zoning, street maintenance, lighting, trash and general administrative services.
Trash Collection
Garbage is collected Tuesday and Friday mornings. You do not need to place your garbage can curbside, just make it accessible to the collectors. No collection occurs on Federal Holidays; all pickups that take place after the holiday will be shifted by one day, for the duration of the week.
Recycling
Recycling is collected curbside on Thursday mornings. You must use a recycling container and place it curbside that morning for collection.
Click here to order a new bin on-line or call Montgomery County’s Customer Service Center at 311 (out-of-County: 240-777-0311, TTY: 301-251-4850).
Special Bulk Trash Pickup
The Village arranges for a special bulk trash pickup twice a year, in May and November.
Please place all of your items curbside by 7:00 a.m. the Saturday of collection.
Please note that you cannot put the following items out for bulk trash pickup:
- No flammable or hazardous material
- No construction debris
- No liquid paint, oil, other pollutants or toxic material (empty cans or containers acceptable if materials are dried and cover has been removed).
- No appliances containing refrigerants.
If you would like to dispose of any of the preceding items you can do so without charge by taking them to the Shady Grove Solid Waste Transfer station. Please visit Montgomery County Household Hazardous Waste Collections.
